Darling Harbour doesn't do school holidays quietly. From 4–19 April 2026, the entire Tumbalong Park precinct transforms into a free family playground, with a different flavour of fun waiting every day of the fortnight. Whether you're there for the chaos of the Easter Saturday disco or the calm of a weekday Kids Yoga session on the grass, the atmosphere is festive, welcoming and completely free.
The centrepiece of the holidays was the School Holiday Disco on Easter Saturday — with a live DJ set, K-Pop dance classes, a parents' dance-off competition, tumble zone and an Easter Bunny sighting — but the fun rolls on right through until 19 April. Circus shows, roving performers, yoga sessions and play equipment upgrades at Darling Quarter keep families coming back throughout the break.
Families can look forward to:
- Free daily activities across Tumbalong Park with no bookings required
- Easter Saturday Disco with DJ set, K-Pop classes and a parents' dance-off
