Darling Square pulls out all the stops for Easter school holidays with a lineup of free activities that make the precinct worth a dedicated visit — or three. Running throughout the NSW Autumn school break (7–17 April 2026), the program is designed for younger children and families who want festive fun without spending a lot.
The Easter egg hunt is the highlight — kids follow clues around the precinct to claim their sweet prize — but the jumping castle, face painting and twisted balloon art mean there's plenty to keep little ones busy well beyond the hunt. With over 50 restaurants and cafes on site, Darling Square is also one of the best spots in the city for a family lunch in between activities.
