About this activity
Inner West Council libraries are among the most active community hubs in Sydney, and school holidays bring a packed program of free activities for kids of all ages. Across the network of branches — Balmain, Leichhardt, Marrickville, Ashfield and more — there's something every day from 13–17 April.
Activities vary by branch and day, ranging from relaxed baby storytime to LEGO engineering challenges, screen printing, coding basics and book clubs. Most activities are free with no bookings required, though some popular sessions fill fast — check the Inner West libraries website to find what's on near you.
Families can look forward to:
- Free storytime sessions for babies and toddlers at multiple branches
- LEGO building challenges for primary school-age kids
- Craft workshops including collage, printing and sculpture
- Introduction to coding and digital making for older kids
- All sessions run by qualified library educators
- Multiple Inner West locations — find your nearest branch easily
